Artistic Guitars is thrilled to be working with Joseph Knaggs Guitars. Joseph S. Knaggs is a world renowned designer and luthier and has built some of the most exquisite guitars made in the last decade for stars such as Carlos Santana and Al Di Meola. Joe was most recently Director of the Private Stock Program and head of R&D at PRS Guitars. The Severn is a double cutaway, “Strat style” six on a side, long scale guitar. The Severn can be purchased in one of three finish levels. This Golden Natural finished guitar has Joe’s select alder body covered with flawless carved curly maple. Above the curly maple edges is very rare and flawless curly mahogany. Gold hardware and a distinctive Ebony with purfling pickguard give the Severn a classy look. The incredible Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is inlayed with gold-outlined green snail diamonds with a 12th fret boat. The amazing Brazilian Rosewood headstock is stunning. 3 Fralin Blues special pickups best that ‘61 strat”special sound. We have low serial numbers including the Severn remaining.
