When Joe says that this is not only one of the best guitars he has ever made, but one of the best he’s ever played, you know it’s special. The Patuxent is a medium-sized body cutaway acoustic. This guitar has the finest tonewoods available. Joe built about 15 PRS PS acoustics, all sold out in a few weeks. This instrument was handmade by Joe with help from Eric. It is finished in an aged natural medium rubbed finish over choice Adirondack Red Spruce, with highly figured Brazilian Rosewood sides / back with a maple bound ebony fingerboard and headstock. Inlay and purfling adorn the neck and perimeter of the body front and back. The engraved Waverly tuning keys and the headstock are truly spectacular. We have the first 5 Acoustics being built - all with truly outstanding woods.
