Artistic Guitars is really excited about this new model with Scott Walker. The Walker Special 2 is a double cutaway, “Les Paul Jr. style” three on a side, short scale guitar. This prototype has a very nice chevron’d quilted maple top, over a highly figured mahogany body. The first three prototypes will have Brazilian packages - solid Brazilian rosewood neck, fingerboard, pickup rings and control knobs. Scale length is 24.75” this one having a 1&9/16” nut. Walker diamond inlays and ivoroid binding adorn the neck and headstock. Lollar high-wind humbucking pickups give good clarity, nice punch and a very special sweet tone. And finally, gold hardware embellishes the tonewoods to give it a classy timeless look. Prototype #2 is finished in Scott’s classy natural satin finish that accentuates the quilt pattern. Wow!
